Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Softono ("Softono", "we", "us"), which builds and operates Algo AI Trade (the "Service"), collects, uses and protects your information.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, password (hashed), and — if you use them — Google sign-in, two-factor (TOTP/email OTP) and passkey data.
- Broker data: broker API credentials you provide are encrypted at rest, plus the resulting connection status, orders and positions.
- Trading data: strategy definitions, backtests, signals, AI verdicts, and execution history.
- Payment data: subscription and license records; card and bank details are handled by our payment processors (Cashfree, Stripe) and are not stored on our servers.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser/device information, and activity logs, for security and troubleshooting.
- Push notification tokens: if you enable notifications, a device token is stored via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
2. How we use your information
To provide and operate the Service — running your strategies, generating and analyzing signals, executing broker orders, processing payments, sending transactional emails and, if enabled, push notifications — and to secure your account, prevent fraud, and improve the Service.
3. AI processing
When a signal is analyzed, the relevant signal context (instrument, direction, the rule that triggered it, and related market data) is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a verdict. We do not send your broker credentials or account identifiers to the AI provider.
4. Who we share data with
We share data only as needed to run the Service: your connected broker (to place orders), our payment processors (Cashfree, Stripe), our email provider (for transactional email), our AI provider (for signal analysis, as above), Firebase (for push notifications), and our hosting infrastructure. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data retention
We retain account, trading and billing data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax and dispute-resolution obligations after closure.
6. Security
Passwords are hashed with argon2; broker credentials and other sensitive settings are encrypted at rest. Access to production data is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and, where you consent via the cookie banner, analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data and revisiting the site.
8. Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023)
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and may withdraw consent for processing that relies on it, subject to our legal and operational obligations (for example, retaining billing records). Contact us via the Contact page to make a request.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at, and may not be used by, individuals under 18.
10. Cross-border transfer
Some of our service providers (AI, hosting, payments) may process data outside India. We require providers we use to apply appropriate safeguards.
11. Grievance officer
For privacy questions or complaints, contact us via the Contact page.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
